Hi, I'm Carl – a vegan hospitality consultant based in San Francisco, California and Charleston, West Virginia.

I help restaurants and hospitality businesses expand their vegan offerings, create more inclusive and sustainable dining experiences, drive more revenue, and stay on top of evolving consumer demands.

With a unique blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and a commitment to veganism, I bring a multifaceted approach to my work as a hospitality consultant. My background as a software developer and designer sharpened my skills in analyzing customer needs and crafting tailored solutions — an approach I now apply to helping restaurants expand their vegan offerings.

Having worked in a restaurant and in the hospitality industry as a ski/snowboard instructor, I understand the dynamics of serving diverse audiences and creating positive experiences. My passion for sustainability and inclusivity motivates me to help businesses meet the growing demand for plant-based options while reaching broader customer bases.

Outside of consulting, I’ve dedicated significant time to volunteering with nonprofits in San Francisco’s Tenderloin and SOMA neighborhoods, as well as supporting wealth redistribution initiatives to foster greater social equity. These experiences reflect my commitment to values and working toward an equitable, safe, compassionate world.

In my free time, I enjoy cycling, playing music, studying Chinese language and tea culture — hobbies that fuel my body, mind, and spirit.
